The breakfast was excellent and offered a wide array of excellent food. It was in a riverside setting asleep to the sound of the river utterly relaxing.

Came here for trip, had good 3 days overall. The location was stunning in a spacious conservatory between 8-9am. Moreover, it's next to hiking into the heart of Dartmoor national park, the river, and a restaurant for dinner.

The room itself was bright, brand-new with big bathroom and had the things we needed. An iron/ironing board, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk were good.

Ideal and unbeatable location in Postbridge, very close to the centre of Dartmoor, Close to the Clapper Bridge and Dartmoor national park. A wide range of delightful food for meals.

Overall, it's good base for exploring Postbridge attractions. The rooms are brand-new, bright, and come with an iron/ironing board, a coffee/tea maker and a work desk. Our beds are lovely.

Fairly clean place with amicable and excellent staff and scenic view of the valley. The most important - marvellous and incredible location in the nature. Based short walk to the East Dart river running nearby in the valley as well as the Dartmoor.

Can't recommend highly enough as we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room is bright and the staff are amiable. The location is great and magnificent, by rising stream. Furthermore, it's just off the river on the private picnic bench amongst the bluebells and birds, shop and the Dartmoor National Park.

Lydgate House is a genuine gem of a place. Situated in beautiful countryside, surrounded by trees and flowers, it offers a peaceful getaway from everyday life. The family running the hotel are friendly, enthusiastic, and nothing is too much trouble. The dining room overlooks a babbling stream and the food is delicious. Each room is uniquely named after a bird, and every detail has been considered. It truly is the best hotel we have ever stayed in.
